So far we have had ours for five years now and it is just the same as the day we bought it. We will be happy if we get 15 years from this mattress and from talking to other people that have the Tempur-Pedic this should not be a problem
If you are reluctant to purchasing a Tempur-Pedic the company does offer a 90-day in home trial. This company has been in business for many years and they do have a very solid reputation. They are the original manufacturers of memory foam mattresses and are certified by NASA. I have had memory foam mattress toppers just prior to owning the Tempur-pedic and there is no comparison what so ever.
I have included below a price guide however this is in Canadian Dollars so I am sure in other countries such as the USA prices will be lower. From looking at the USA prices on these mattresses the USA ones are at least 200.00 less than the prices I have listed.

Will thanks for coming by to read this. How I wish I could comfortably sleep on a sidewalk. Years ago I would sleep on the floor when my back would hurt but that just will not work for me anymore.

Great Hub Susan! I had to do a double take because I am working on a hub on sleep right now (I helped my brother in law for awhile in his mattress store). He used to sell Tempur-pedic beds, pillows, etc. like crazy and then he went to the "Organic" brands instead - there were so many disappointed customers. Seems like people either love or hate the Tempur-Pedic Mattress, in either case you provided some great info! Thanks for sharing.

Well they have made my back feel a lot better and I can now wake up in the morning without being in pain from the old bed. Sheesh!

RealHousewife be sure to check these beds out they are worth the extra money. I just saw a commercial the other night that they now have adjustable motorized ones too.
I am going to! I should have done so in the first place. You just can't do anything to make up for bad sleep, every night. I have slept in my daughters bed on occasion if I have already gotten a back ache - she has a twin sized pillow top and even that feels more comfortable!

Luckily, we can both sleep on the sidewalk and still be comfortable...so far!
But should either of us develop back problems, we'll keep this in mind.
