Recipe Chocolate Fudge Easiest Ever

"MM" "MM" Chocolate Fudge

This recipe is the easiest fudge recipe I have ever made. You can use chopped nuts of your choice or you can omit them. Usually I make this candy at Christmas, and sometimes for my sweetie on Valentines Day. This exact recipe can be used if you want to make butterscotch fudge or peanut butter fudge.

Ingredients Needed For Chocolate Fudge

  • 1 Package (350 g) Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Can of Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
  • 1 1/4 Cups of Icing Sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Cup of Chopped Nuts

Let's Start Cooking

In a saucepan over low heat melt the chocolate chips with the Eagle Brand Condensed Milk, stirring frequently. Once the chocolate chips are entirely melted. Stir in the icing sugar in increments, add pinch of salt, vanilla, and nuts.

Once Everything Is Well Mixed

Line an 8" square pan with wax paper. Spread your fudge onto the wax paper in the pan. Pop it into the refrigerator and chill for 2 - 3 hours.

Once chilled turn the fudge onto a cutting board and peel off the wax paper. Cut into squares. The fudge can be stored at room temperature but I prefer to keep mine in the fridge.

Fudge may be wrapped well and frozen for up to six weeks. Thaw at room temperature before cutting.

This recipe will make 2 pounds of chocolate fudge.

This looks really good. I bought sweetened condensed milk and semisweet chocolate chips only to find that my fudge recipe doesn't use either of those, and I used up all my sugar. Thanks for this recipe. I have these ingredients!

Sounds delicious! I don't normally like nuts in my fudge. I don't typically put condensed milk in my fudge either but I guess it's not overly sweet with the semisweet chocolate chips.

Yum! My grandmother used to make fudge all the time for me when I was a kid. Brings back memories. My favorite used to be her peanut butter fudge.

Just Ask Susan 3 months ago

My grandmother used to make the best fudge. I've tried making it her way and it never comes out the same way as hers did.
