Happy Mother's Day Poem To My Mother In Law My Friend
I feel so fortunate to have a mother in law that I hold very dear to my heart. Growing up I did not have a mother as my Mom passed away when I was only two. All my life I looked for someone that I could adopt as my mother. It took me over twenty years to find this wonderful person who I adore, love and cherish. Her and I are the best of friends and enjoy each other’s company. I feel blessed to have this woman in my life. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about her. Don’t get me wrong, Claire is not a replacement for the mother that I lost, she is just someone that I can comfortably call Mom, which I have done since the first day that I met her.
Making This a Tradition
I have a written a poem for my Mother In Law…To some it may be a bit silly but I am sure she will like it…. she had better….
Here the poem I wrote for my mother in law for 2014. I've decided make this a tradition and each year write a poem for her.
Happy Mother’s Day Mom
So glad that I married your son
This way I was blessed twice
Just from one roll of the dice
Got the man of my dreams
And a Mother that is supreme
Supportive you have always been
Even if you disagree you grin
Advice you only give when asked
For a mother in law this is class
We travel well you and I
Even over thousands of miles
We always seem to have a blast
Our friendship it will always last
So today I raise this glass of beer
I love you Mom to you I Cheer
Mother In Laws
Do you have a good relationship with your mother in law?
